A new partnership between Child and Family Services and the Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) is being created to help with the completion of overdue child abuse and neglect assessments. HOME VISITORS - CONCORD, MANCHESTER, & NASHUA, NH AREAS.
As a  full time Home Visitor, you will provide support to families prenatally and to those with children of all ages. Focusing on understanding and supporting Parent/Child Interaction that promotes optimum social emotional and physical development of children. The Home Visitors work in partnership with schools, state agencies, and medical providers as well as social service agencies to address families concrete needs and to help promote family self sufficiency. Home visits follow a protocol developed by Maternal and Child Health and the evidenced based curriculum, Parents as Teachers. Reflective supervision is provide to support the work of the home visitor. BA degree in Social Work or related field (experience can be substituted for some education). Previous experience with home visiting, infant/toddler development, parenting education preferred. Experience working with trauma including knowledge of ACES is a plus. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently collaborating with client and staff to coordinate services.
