Colleen Ives joins Child and Family Services as Vice President – Programs.

Ives previously served as vice president, operations and quality control for the Rockport Mortgage Corporation, Gloucester, MA. While at Rockport Mortgage, Ives had overall responsibility for achieving strategic objectives through oversight of the day-to-day operations of five multi-disciplinary underwriting teams. She also ensured compliance with the federally mandated Quality Control Program through employee development initiatives, monitored operational practices, and integrated new HUD directives into existing best practices; In addition, Ives led a multi-disciplinary team of financial, legal, environmental, and construction professionals, in the pursuit of $350 million, six hospital HUD Section 242 loan application that included $90 million of new construction.

Prior to joining Rockport Mortgage Corporation, Ives was principal of Ives Development Associates, a consulting agency that provided strategic planning and leadership development to public, private and nonprofit companies throughout New England.

Ives received her Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Philosophy and holds a Master of Arts/CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies) in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College, Worcester, MA. She also holds a Doctorate in Human and Organization Systems, and Master of Arts in Human Development, from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA.

Child and Family Services names new director of development

Child and Family Services recently appointed Paul Staller of Kensington to the position of development director. 

Staller joins CFS from the Currier Museum of Art where he held the position of director of development. Each year fundraising goals were increased to a total of an estimated $2.4 million dollars over his three year tenure. 

Prior to joining the Currier Museum of Art, Staller served as director of class giving at Columbia College Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, Columbia University, New York, NY.

FOSTER FAMILIES NEEDED IN NH:  WHY NOT YOU?

This year, approximately 800 New Hampshire children will find themselves in need of foster homes. Most will have been removed from their own homes due to parental abuse or neglect.  They’ll range from birth to age 18, have a wide range of circumstances, and will hail from every corner of the state.  Unfortunately, there are not enough licensed foster homes to accommodate all of the children in need in New Hampshire.

Nestled on 56 acres of forest overlooking the Contoocook River in Penacook, NH, Camp Spaulding has been providing great summer adventures to kids from throughout New Hampshire since 1921.  Operated by Child and Family Services of NH, a statewide, private nonprofit organization, Camp Spaulding offers an affordable overnight camping experience to boys and girls, ages 8-14.
