FOSTER FAMILIES NEEDED IN NH:  WHY NOT YOU?

This year, approximately 800 New Hampshire children will find themselves in need of foster homes. Most will have been removed from their own homes due to parental abuse or neglect.  They’ll range from birth to age 18, have a wide range of circumstances, and will hail from every corner of the state.  Unfortunately, there are not enough licensed foster homes to accommodate all of the children in need in New Hampshire.

Nestled on 56 acres of forest overlooking the Contoocook River in Penacook, NH, Camp Spaulding has been providing great summer adventures to kids from throughout New Hampshire since 1921.  Operated by Child and Family Services of NH, a statewide, private nonprofit organization, Camp Spaulding offers an affordable overnight camping experience to boys and girls, ages 8-14.

-raises funds, friends, awareness-

Child and Family Services’ Concerts for the Cause - BLUES SUMMIT event, starring The Robert Cray Band and Jon Butcher, was a great success!  As the first installment of the 2014 CFTC season, the event was presented to a packed house at the Capitol Center for the Arts, and raised over $64,000 to support critical services to local children and families.  Prior to the concert, sponsors, media and other VIPS enjoyed a private reception at Orr & Reno Law Firm, which featured a meet-and-greet with the artist, and live music by MB Padfield.
