Deployment Cycle Support Programs (DCSP)
Child and Family Services is proud to be a part of the Deployment Cycle Support Program, a military/civilian partnership designed to support service members and their families, before, during, and post deployment.
The philosophy behind this program is that the service member is better able to focus on mission readiness when the family is well supported at home. Families are assisted by skilled providers (care coordinators), throughout the state to help families receive whatever services are needed. Services may include individual and family counseling, case management, emergency financial aid, housing support, fuel assistance, child care, transportation, employment services, financial or legal counseling, help in accessing medical care, or support with any number of crises that may occur during the deployment cycle. Care coordinators are available post deployment to assist service members with reintegration issues as well as the negative effects of war that may manifest through post traumatic stress, depression, and traumatic brain injuries. Veterans are assisted in registering with the VA to access all available benefits and services.
